Rudbeckia hirta

One of the most ebullient bloomers for the Summer-Fall garden, ‘Sahara’ is our favorite new Rudbeckia! GIANT 4-5” fully double flowers in a gorgeous mix of colors including rich merlot, antique rose, caramel, milk chocolate, coral and copper. Occasionally, a pretty rogue single shows up, but not to worry as it self-sows and you’ll get doubles and all the colors you want. To 24” x 18”, the plentiful blooms are held on strong erect stems from July-Oct. Butterflies and bees and great cut flowers! Excellent in containers (10+ gal). Rich, well-drained soil. Deer resistant!
