Searching for something frilly and fancy enough to attract a second – or third – glance? Voila! We did a double-take when we saw these flounces of concentrated cranberry colored ruffles (ever-so-slightly infused with deep pink) on 4” double blooms standing proudly atop sturdy 4’ tall stems. Lovely, ferny foliage grows to 3’-4’ across. The bountiful, BRILLIANT show goes on and on with relatively few requirements: regular sun, summer water, some deadheading, plus a bit of compost keep this self-sowing annual cheerfully performing ALL Summer long and well into the Fall. The pretty-pretty blooms provide an irresistible rest stop for bees and butterflies and make a fantastic cut flower, too!
