Honeybee, this one’s for you! ‘Lemon Queen’ is the chosen Sunflower for The Great Sunflower Project, which was started in 2008 to help study what pollinators do in an urban environment & raise awareness about the honeybee decline! Join in online at www.greatsunflower.org to learn more & sign up to participate in the study, as a “citizen scientist” - it’s EASY, fun & best of all it helps the honeybees. Blooms are a sunny lemon yellow with a lovely chocolate brown disc, about 6” across each. Plants grow quickly to 6’ & branch slightly.
