This beautiful rare plant is a great asset to a garden. Becoming a small tree in our area, it’s lovely to sit under and admire the true blue, bell-shaped flowers. The flowers are 2-3” long and bloom for an extended period. They look like miniature Brugmansia flowers. Native to Argentina, it is evergreen and likes sun to part sun and average water. It can be pruned hard in early spring if it gets leggy. It grows as a large multi-stemmed shrub or small tree to 10’. Good in a container. Hummingbirds love the flowers! Just so you know, the fruit is poisonous so don't eat for goodness sake.
