I absolutely adore this South African native of the Campanula family. It loves growing here in our similar Mediterranean climate. Masses of blooms from late Spring thru Fall! The 3/4”, narrow, flaring, cupped-shaped, soft blue flowers are borne on myriads of slender stems that curve out and up, giving it a nice character. The foliage is low and mat forming and will spread to 2’ wide and remain fairly evergreen. Totally easy to grow, just cut back severely after flowering, feed sometime in late winter or early Spring and watch it go. Perfect for spilling over the edge of a bed or a rock wall, excellent in a container (at least 12”) and gorgeous with Agastache rupestris.
