Well, if this isn’t one of the coolest edgers and/or foliar highlights for the drier garden. So soft to the touch with fuzzy feathery ever-silvery-grey tomentose 2” leaves. Easy to grow in well-drained soil, including rocky, sandy or gravelly. You get a bright silver-white low growing and compact shrublet-groundcover to 8” tall and 2’ across. Grown for its fabulous foliage, it can bloom in Summer with small yellow “buttons” on short stems, though some folks shear these off to retain the all-silver appearance. Native to mountains in Turkey and Syria, it’s root hardy to 10-15 degrees F. Cut back in early Spring to keep it fresh and tidy. Non-aggressive. Deer resistant.
