Our 2017 plant trials are complete! We've weighed and measured the new recruits and the few that did survive the gauntlet of our expectations are starting to roll out! Here are just a handful of the beauties that blew us away in 2017 – with more to come! Grab them while you can, some are limited or only available once a year!

ONE CROP WONDER! One of our most treasured South African bulbs, we selected this gorgeous red form of "Harlequin Flower" a couple years ago and have been building stock ever since! This is our first offering of this tough and floriferous mid-Spring blooming beauty, grab one while you can!

Ranunculus 'Pink Picotee'
Stellar cut flowers lasting up to 10 days in a vase are your reward with this romantic and old-fashioned bulb! 2” blooms in countless variations of streaked and solid pinks, purples and creams, no two plants are alike but ALL are ruffley and gorgeous! Hardy USDA zone 8, adaptable to most soils with good drainage.

A gorgeous low-maintenance plant perfect for beginner gardeners! Evergreen and flowering year-round in mild climates with huge 4-5" lavender-blue blooms, it's adaptable to poor, sandy or rich soil with good drainage. To
6’ x 8’, but loves to be pruned to a smaller size.

Almost instant gratification in a lovely shade of peach! Within one month you’ll have a mass of single 3" “African Daisies” for quick and easy color and/or filler! Tolerates poor, sandy soil, more glorious in rich soil. Terrific planted 2-3 in a 10+ gallon container.

Beautiful silvery white foliage, dense form and highest rating for toughness makes ‘Silver Anouk’ an outstanding fave! To 2’x2’ and disease resistant, it blooms profusely in Spring with scented deep purple spikelets. Fast draining soil for best show. Bees and butterflies, hardy to USDA zone 6!

Brugmansia vulcanicola 'Suncrest Vulsa'
Possibly the most lusted after Brugmansia on the planet, ‘Suncrest Vulsa’ is said to be a cross between B. vulcanicola and B. sanguineum featuring 7-9” pin-striped pendulant salmon-pink trumpets. Tree-like to 15’ x 10’ and easily pruned shorter. Evergreen. Hummers! Deer resistant.

The first time we’ve seen TURQUOISE blooms on a Salvia! This new introduction from northern Peru astounds with copious blooms on plentiful upright arching wands late Spring thru December. To 3’x 3’. Hummingbirds! Deer resistant.

Introduced by Santa Barbara Botanical Garden and just now becoming available, this sensational Baja native boasts brilliant silver foliage and golden 1” daisies. Extremely tolerant of heat and drought, needs little to no additional water once established

Oxalis brasiliensis
First introduced in 1829, this sweet Brazilian beauty features oodles of hot-pink flowers early Spring thru late Summer. Leathery green leaves form a well-mannered groundcovery clump. Not invasive, but plant in a container if you're concerned about it naturalizing.

She'll bust myths and build your knowledge on watering, feeding, grooming and pest control – ie: everything you need to grow strong, healthy bushes that produce beautiful blooms and vigorous canes.
