Shiso fine! This attractive annual ‘Japanese Basil’ has a long history of both culinary and medicinal use. It is simply divine mixed with Umeboshi plum paste in a sushi roll! The large, crinkly, papery leaves are delicious in salads, as well – and it can also be used for tea. Grows to 24” tall over a long season and self-sows afterwards. Makes a great leafy ornamental in a mixed border, too! Plant in good garden soil and water regularly for best results.
