THE most INTENSE scarlet red blooms I’ve ever seen on a Salvia! Eye-popping 1/2” blooms stand out against black calyxes and prominent, black, upright stems. To 30” x 30” with a compact, bushy habit, it never stops blooming here in coastal California, attracting hummers, bees and butterflies. Prune back a bit annually to maintain tidiness. Best in well-drained soil, side-dress with compost in Spring. EASY,drought tolerant and deer resistant! Hardy to 15-20° F. Big thanks to Derry Watkins of Special Plants Nursery in England.
