Very rare in cultivation & an awesome ornamental in a large container or succulent garden, this native of Gran Canaria Island creates a nice & compact multi-stemmed mound to 3’ x 3’. About 1 foot across, the rosettes are a large & fabulous grayish-blue-green often shaded white & rose with strongly toothed deep red edges. Growing it in full sun & dryer conditions gives you the fanciest coloration. The inflorescence on this species is nicely dense & pyramidal bearing starry white flowers. A stunning choice for those large permanent ceramic containers & as they’re so adaptable you can grow them in bright shade to full sun. Good drainage with some compost for best show.
