Aloe glauca
“Blue Aloe”
A pretty, powdery-blue, starry Aloe is just the ticket for adding a pop of fun color to your dry garden. Growing up to 18” wide on short stems, multiple blooming stalks appear late-Winter/Spring with hummingbird attracting salmon-pink flowers. Water wise, this Aloe doesn’t like Summer rain & doesn’t need very much Winter water, so good drainage is the key to success. If you don’t have great drainage, a container with cactus soil will do the trick. Readily produces offshoots for free baby plants. Native to South Africa.
