Dudleya palmeri
Dude, you totally need another Dudleya! I’m serious - it’s impossible to have too many Dudleyas & D. palmeri is a winner with handsome, lance shaped, chalky leaves & crazy gorgeous deep-pink, almost red, blooming stems topped with super showy, hummingbird attracting yellow to orangey-red blooms in Spring. A native to the California coast from Monterey south to LA, it pretty much takes care of itself as long as you provide it with good drainage & some sun (if you’re inland it prefers a bit of afternoon shade). It doesn’t even mind if you don’t bother watering it all Summer, making it an easy option for a rad hanging basket or container. Rosettes grow up to 8” high & wide. Extremely RARE in cultivation.
