It takes heat like a champ, making it a great option for the deep south & it’s just as tough as its suave, golden leaved parent H. ‘Marmalade’.  Forming a charming 1’ high & 2’ wide rounded clump, it’s the perfect pop of color for almost anywhere, even containers. In Spring to early-Summer small, tannish, 16” spikes of flowers appear. Easy to grow, it’s happy with average, well-drained soil & once established it’s even drought tolerant in shadier locales.
