Vivid deep purple shiny berries dangle from 24” stems after a Summer bloom of little starry pale violet flowers.  Hailing from Lord Howe Island & Norfolk Island, it’s an evergreen cousin to Phormium & just as tough. Growing to 2’-3’ tall & wide, it’s a clumper, sporting handsome, strappy, shiny green leaves. Completely drought tolerant once established it only needs an occasional water to keep it looking pretty. Windy conditions & salt spray are no problem, making it a great coastal option. Prefers well drained soil.
