SO VERY EASY & extra spectacular, this is one of the tallest Dieramas we’ve seen - growing to a whopping 5-6’ tall by 4-5’ wide. In Summer, Huge 3” rosy pink bells dangle elegantly from lovely, long (up to 6’) stems – it’s a delight to see this curving over the edge of a bed or in a large container (5 gallons or larger!) In their native environment - the Eastern Cape of South Africa - Dieramas are accustomed to summer rain, but they thrive in California nonetheless. Once established, they are an evergreen, drought-tolerant plant that needs very little special attention - just an occasional grooming session (pull spent leaves, cut faded stems & top dress annually when they’re in growth.) Very heavy soil should be amended for decent drainage.
