Really rare but easy to grow Solanaceae (tomato) family member & native of Mexico, Central America & Arizona produces shiny black blueberry sized edible fruits. Said to taste like a sweet & spicy cross between a tomato & a grape, it can be eaten raw or made in to a delicious jam. It’s probably not frost hardy, but word is it may be a short lived perennial in frost free areas. Let us know! Growing to 4’tall & 3’ wide, staking or support is recommended. Self pollinates. All parts of the plant except for the ripe berries are toxic.
