Smoldering single peach-hued blooms with a dark central disc play against a rich backdrop of maroon-black leaves – is this or is this not JUST the thing for a decadent Summer border. Magical combined with Antirrhinum ‘Chantilly Lace’, Orlaya grandiflora & Cal Poppy ‘Apricot Chiffon’. Because its 3-4” blooms are single, the pollinators get to party (YAY!) & it blooms for eons (waaay into Fall if you keep it deadheaded.) Unlike *some* Dahlias you may have known, this one needs no assistance to stand tall. Cut flowers, of course are an added bonus. Grows 2-3’ tall by 2’ wide or so, & likes a rich loamy soil in SUN.
