Well, this is possibly the most perfect small scale, drought resistant groundcover I have ever come across! So carefree & well behaved! It doesn’t get gnarly at the base or go bald in the center – it just stays a nice, dense, 7” tall & 20” across, ideal for well drained, hardly-ever-water rock gardens, containers or the edge of pathways. Fun to pet downy, sage green foliage is dotted with pretty purple Salvia-like flowers from late Spring through Fall. Found growing on rocky slopes in Turkey, so it should be very heat tolerant. Just make sure to provide excellent drainage. Cut back in Winter. Deciduous in colder zones.
