From Mexico, here’s the REAL DEAL & honestly probably the best Dahlia we grow! You won’t find a Dahlia this wild & free without actually going into the wild & digging it up yourself (which we Do Not Recommend.) For a long while, customers have been petitioning us for cuttings from our Dahlia collection. Without a doubt, this is the most popular & has had a longer residence at the nursery than any plant I can think of – profuse, clear red single blooms on a vigorous, mildew resistant plant that needs NO STAKING. Each bloom is 4”, scarlet red with a clear yellow center. Every year, the plants develop more stems & blooming potential – keep them deadheaded & you’ll see blooms from June through frost. To maintain, side-dress with compost once a year when the growth begins to emerge from dormancy. That’s pretty much it! To 4-6' high & 2-3' wide.
