Dierama ‘Merlin’

A little bit of sorcery for borders & containers! We LOVE Dieramas (they have grace beyond compare!) & we love this one extra for its luscious blackberry hued flowers, but we love it SUPER EXTRA for being a 100% consistent selection. That means that there’s zero chance that you’ll have the unexpected surprise of having the odd “hey that’s not the color it said it was” seedling show up, as sometimes happens with the seed-grown forms. Dieramas do like some Summer water, but once established they can do without. Disturb the corms as little as possible, as they are sensitive to this & avoid heavy, wet soils. Established plants will be around 2’ high & wide, with blooming stems to 3’. Best where they are given enough space that their delicate, wiry stems can be appreciated.  Tolerant of many soil types. To maintain, remove old growth & bloomed out stems as necessary.
