You are guaranteed to find something important that you did not know. Pam Peirce has been growing vegetables & fruits in the Bay Area since the early 1970's & her book has became an essential tool for gardeners in this area. Personally, if I did not have it as a reference book, I would be wasting a lot of time figuring out what Pam already knows. Pam has been working on this new edition since 1998 & there is tons of new information included and decidedly worth the up-grade if you already have the book. Chapters on everything from watering, soil improving, dealing with pests, to information on just about every veggie, herb or fruit you could want. Highly recommended!
