Eriogonum fasciculatum foliolosum

You can't really plant butterflies & bees in your garden, but planting Eriogonums is just about as good! This low maintenance, drought tolerant native shrub is an important food source for many native insects. It blooms for an exceedingly long time – late Spring through Summer & longer. Flowers start out as white, but gradually turn a rose color. Ultimately, the spent blooms will fade to rusty shades, adding Fall interest. The seeds attract birds as well! There's almost no part of the plant that isn't desirable to some creature or another. Grows to 3' tall & 4' wide. CLAY TOLERANT & SAND TOLERANT!
