Jordaaniella dubia

A drought tolerant & densely ground-covering South African rarity with MAMMOTH flowers. Succulent, finger-like leaves appear year round with long stems that root as they go. In early Spring, the plant puts on a shocking display of short lived but breathtaking flowers. Each bloom is about 3” across & comprised of 50 or so petals that shimmer & shine in the sun. These open for a few days & then the plant returns to its former incarnation as a tough useful low water groundcover. Though the plant does not have a long bloom season it makes it up in drama points! PERFECT for coastal gardens, as it thrives in sandy soil. Good drainage is not required so long as you don’t water excessively. Swell in a hanging basket! To 2” tall and easy to trim to whatever size you like. HEAT and CLAY TOLERANT.
