Abutilon indicum “Sweet Mallow” “Monkeybush” Abutilon indicum “Sweet Mallow” “Monkeybush”

We're big fans of this Southeast Asian native Abutilon. We like it for its form, toughness, long bloom season and its soft, silvery green, heart-shaped foliage. Quick growing to 4’ - 6’ tall, it’s very multi-branching & shrub-like & blooms from February till July. Small, 1”, soft, peachy-yellow, shallow Abutilon blooms are borne abundantly throughout the season, followed by interesting seed heads. Loamy soil is best.
