Grow your own bubble machine! Crowds of simultaneously orange, red  & yellow bubbly “pocketbook” flowers are held up on stiff, reddish, multi-branching stems from Summer to Fall. Nicely perennial if you grow it in rich, well-draining soil. Low & pretty, crinkle-leaved, deep green rosette. Bright & shiny paired with gentian Anchusa azurea  & the contrasty dark foliage of Anthriscus ‘Raven’s Wing’. Cut back in Winter. Growing less than 2’ wide, & up to 4’ tall, it’s suitable in containers & in semi-shady borders.
