Iochroma grandiflora

The largest flowered Iochroma I’ve ever seen! Big felty leaves & stems & 2-3” blue-purple bell flowers, very flaring & twice the size of your average Iochroma. Easy in a large container, 15 gallon size & up, it stays evergreen in mild climates & blooms in Spring & intermittently thru Summer. Grows 4-6’ in part sun by the coast, give it more shade inland. Give regular water, a top-dressing of compost & protect from any mean freezes, though it seems to weather frost without much fuss at all! Hooray!
