Aloe pluridens
“French Aloe”

Aloe pluridens “French Aloe” Aloe pluridens “French Aloe”

This trunk forming Aloe can grow up to 15’ tall & has long arching leaves to over 2’ long. It can make quite a statement in the garden. Native to coastal areas of South Africa, it is Fall/Winter blooming. Three flower inflorescences are produced from each rosette. The flowers vary from orange to pinky-red. Needs some semi-shade in really hot areas. The old dead leaves will remain on the plant & hang down to protect the stem from heat & cold. But if you prefer a tidier look & live in a mild climate, the leaves can be removed with no problems.
