Marrubium supinum

This extremely lovely aromatic Horehound is reliably perennial & needs NO SUMMER WATER. It makes a perfect foreground plant for a dry garden & is great for dressing up the woody lower branches of many shrubs. From 4-12” tall in Part Shade & about 2’ across, its dense sage green quilted foliage draws you in with a sort of 3-D effect & the slender white edging of each leaf makes it stand out. Whorls of small lavender flowers appear in leaf axils in mid-Summer. Trouble free, it attracts lots of friendly & interesting bugs!
