Euphorbia lambii
“Tree Euphorbia”

Architecturally awesome, evergreen, EASY, drought & deer resistant, Canary Island “Tree Euphorbia” makes a choice focal point for dryish, succulent or tropicalesque gardens. Fast-growing to 6-8’ tall & wide, its thick, upright main trunk branches out in a curious undulating manner into a dense dome of lance shaped leaves held in pom-pom like whorls. Trés Doctor Seuss – especially in Spring/Summer when the large 6” across clusters of bright lime flower bracts put on their grand, long lasting show. Best in well drained soil with a bit of annual compost. Self-sows. Hardy to 25° F. Like all Euphorbias, the sap of this plant can be TOXIC to varying degrees. Be sure to protect your eyes, skin & NEVER ingest!
