Dudleya pulverulenta “Chalk Liveforever”

Long-lived & happy with neglect, this giant “Liveforever” forms an elegant, 2’ rosette of ghostly white leaves. In May & July it sends up stout powdery white arching stalks, stopped by candelabra-like clusters of small, red bellflowers loved by hummingbirds. Use it in a container, tucked into a rock wall or to highlight the front of a rock garden. Good drainage is important & it looks better with a watering (not overhead) about every two weeks in Summer. Also, looks best in part shade in our hotter areas away from the coast. Long lived & increases by producing new rosettes. Hardy to 20 degrees F.
