Aquilegia caerulea ‘Krystal’

The largest flowers I’ve ever seen on a Columbine! Along with A. chrysantha, it’s also the longest blooming – until mid-Summer & this heavenly variety is no exception. Cut back to a few inches tall when it’s done & it very often blooms again in Fall. Healthy, long-lived & FRAGRANT! Although not a true California native, it was such a stand-out in our native garden display that I just had to include it. So enough said, make room for it somewhere in your garden! To 3’ x 2’. Rich soil is best.
