Need an endless explosion of bloom on a tough, goof-proof bushy perennial? A year around bloomer here in coastal California, I rely on this long-lived, effortless perennial every Spring for its bloomiferous bright pink color and height – which is hard to come by in Spring perennial land. Really fast to bloom, you’ll get a whole lotta flowers on branching stems above a hearty 18” clump of spoon shaped leaves. Cut back after blooms fade for quick repeat flowering, which lasts for months and to prevent excessive reseeding. Good cut flowers! Excellent for mid-bed showiness and containers. Rich soil for best performance. To 30” x 30”. Butterflies!
