Anigozanthos
‘Harmony’

Go BIG with this vibrant yellow Kangaroo Paw with multi-branching flowering stems that can reach an epic 5' tall! This Aussie native puts on a prolonged blooming show from late Spring to early Fall. As with all kangaroo paw flowers, it’s the fuzzy 1” long bracts that are the feature attraction. These bracts then sprout 5 lime green finger “paws”. Fuzzy red stems add extra appeal. Totally unique and charming, this kangaroo paw makes a dramatic vertical statement in any garden! Plant in drifts in a sunny bed or use as a potted focal point. Bees and hummingbirds will come-a-calling, so situate this guy in easy view. Plant in fertile, well-drained soil and water regularly. Deadhead for longer blooming. Cut back older foliage clumps in Winter to allow for new leaf fans to emerge, as that is the source of new flowers. Bait for slugs and snails. Makes an excellent cut flower.
