A unique “Angel’s Trumpet” with variegated foliage and sweetly fragrant blooms. Substantial (to 10” long) leaves are a bluish-green with dramatically creamy margins, giving this variety year round appeal. 8” night-scented bell-shaped flowers start off white then age to a lovely, soft apricot color. Growing quickly to 10-12’ in height, multi-branching, with a spread of 8-10’, this evergreen small tree makes a wonderful focal point near a walkway or beside the house. Once established, it blooms nearly year round in milder climates. Make sure to water regularly and feed often for best flower. Popular with hummingbirds! In colder climates, lay down a thick layer of mulch to protect plants in Winter. Plant in fertile, well-drained soil in full sun on the coast, part sun inland. Deer resistant.
