Brilliant yellow blooms from January thru Julymake bees and beneficials say yay! This lovely CA native shrublet grows only 1-2’ tall and wide with small, lacy leaves held on wooly white stems. Exceptionally deer resistant and needing only occasional Summer water, it’s typically evergreen, but stress or extreme drought can cause it to go deciduous. Starting in late Winter it becomes enshrouded in yarrow-like clusters of brilliant yellow flowers that are exceptionally attractive to butterflies, bees and all manner of beneficial insects. A lovely, low-maintenance addition to a dry or habitat garden.Deadhead for most prolific bloom. Prefers good drainage.
