Possibly the most dramatic, biggest and most floriferous “mullein” out there! All Summer long a ginormous 5’ tall and 3’ wide candelabras of creamy white flowers sporting honeybee-attracting yellow stamens and bright red anthers tower above a 3’ wide rosette of large wooly gray leaves. Content in just about any well-draining soil, has very low water needs, and handily resists deer and slugs. Proof that sometimes, even no-effort gardening can achieve a show stopping impact! Just give it a spot in full sun, large enough to accommodate its stature, water it once a week after it is established then sit back and enjoy! We add a dose of rich compost at planting time to produce an even more outrageous show.
