Yucca gloriosa
'Variegata'

A STUNNING Yucca with foliage as beautiful as the blooms. Creamy yellow variegation glows against dark green leaves; in cool weather, juvenile leaves take on an adorable pink edge. In Summer, flower spikes emerge - vivid mauve bracts protect tender, young blooms until they open: bright white with a sweet pink blush. Tolerant of drought, deer, humidity, & even wet feet, ‘Variegata’ is a super easy variety -virtually indestructible! Grows up to 6’ wide & 10’ tall on a short trunk. It will spread rhizomatically, so if you don’t want babies - please consider making it a container specimen. When placing this plant, keep in mind that its leaves have a tendency to prick – give it plenty of leeway!
