Here’s a chance to grab this magnificent ornamental tree at an affordable price! A spectacular fast-growing street tree to 30’ tall with a rounded crown spreading to 30’ across. Finely cut fern-like leaves usually drop around February, followed by a breathtaking display of large, dense, lightly fragrant clusters of 2” lavender tubular flowers (usually in June). Tolerant of a wide variety of soils, it does best with some drainage and fertilizing. Drought tolerant once established, it’s happiest with an occasional deep watering during its leafy period in Summer. Wind resistant. Established trees can tolerate brief periods of 20° F.
