Sophisticated, pendulous ivory blooms grace the delicate arching stems of Dierama argyeum in Summer. Emerging from buttery yellow buds, the bell-shaped blooms sport a bit of understated bling with silvery, shimmering bracts. Growing to 2-3’ high & wide, it’s magical atop a wall, used in a hedge, or spilling out of a container. Dieramas do like some Summer water, but once established they can do without. Disturb the corms as little as possible, as they are sensitive to this & avoid heavy, wet soils. To maintain, remove old growth & bloomed out stems as necessary.
