Like a shimmering ever-silver waterfall cascading over the edge of a bed, ‘Silver Falls’ is a groundcover that should be used much more often! Fast-growing to quickly carpet an area 4-6’ across, the dense, prostrate and trailing stems are clothed in soft and silvery-blue-green heart-shaped leaves. An unusual contrast in the foreground of colorful bloomers, it looks amazing draping itself over a wall or out of a container, hanging basket or window box. Happily, it doesn’t choke out other plantings. Native to of the Southwest, it’s heat and drought tolerant, but looks much better with average water. Decently fertile well-drained soil.
