MASSIVE 6-8” creamy yellow flowers give you an epic floral explosion! Selected from the collection at Strybing Arboretum in San Francisco, this beautiful epipyhtic cactus has proven itself surprisingly low-maintenance. Just provide occasional water – allowing it to dry out a bit between waterings. Plant in container – not too big as they bloom best when a bit crowded - with loose draining soil. Feed with a 10-10-10 fertilizer once a month before and after flowering. Protect from extreme cold. Makes a very showy house plant. Flowers appear in Spring – a light, creamy yellow in the center, with brighter canary yellow outer petals. Makes a great hanging basket plant! Best situated under an overhang or tree to provide protection from harsh afternoon sunlight.
