A truly fantastic, new Cuphea species! Hundreds of flowers are borne simultaneously on a dense, multi-branching plant, 3’ tall & wide. Rich, ruby-brown “Mousketeer Ears” sit erect above the face of the long, tubular, bright coral-red flowers, which dangle all along 8-10” arching stems. Quite a show when backlit by the sun or when the wind blows. The 1.5” mid-green spade-shaped leaves are pretty too & remain evergreen here in our mild climate. Filtered-shade, bright shade to part sun & rich soil is best.
