Grown for its tall, beautiful flower heads, "Korean Feather Grass" makes a wonderful accent plant or container grass & is very effective planted in groups for a larger garden. The soft feather plumes begin with a strong purple-red tint, fading to silvery-cream. The plumes last well into winter & make pretty cut flowers - fresh or dried - they won’t close up like many other plume-grasses do. Easy to grow, it tolerates many soil conditions – including heavy clay - though it does best in fertile soil with regular moisture. A big asset in lightly shaded borders, since it will bloom in a considerable amount of shade.
