One and ONLY crop of EPIC Epiphyllums is ready!

Have we got a treat for you, gardening amigos! Our crack team of propagators has been on a secret mission over the last year and a half to build up stock of AS MANY of our ginormous-flowering Epiphyllums as possible. A daunting task for sure, since motherstock was limited and these babies like to take their time to root. So we are extra thrilled to announce (drumrolllll please!) that for the first time in nearly FOUR YEARS - our mighty foursome of peppy Epis are ready!

The embodiment of floriferousness, these crazy-cool cacti from Central and South America produce ENORMOUS and sumptuous blooms the size of your head. Really! With blooms easily reaching 10-14" across, at first glance, they look like massive Christmas Cacti. Surprisingly carefree, give them average to low water in loose draining soil and protect from frost - that's it! Best planted in a container that gives their long, flattened, evergreen, succulent branches room to dangle, be it a hanging basket or a pot. And fabulous news, cold-weather brethren - they make excellent, low-care housplants!

Go Wild for Wildflowers!

We are thrilled to welcome lifelong plant enthusiast, botanist, professor of horticulture, author and all-around CA natives expert Glenn Keator to the nursery on Saturday, March 12 at 11:00 am!

Come learn about his favorite California native plants, why they are important to our ecology and how you can be successful with them in your own garden.

WHO LET THE BULBS OUT?!
Magical RARE BULBS are ready!

And now YOU can be the envy of the neighborhood with our wild and wonderful Mediterranean-climate-loving bulbs from South Africa and beyond!

We're super picky about our bulbs. Since we nurse and nurture most of them from seed, we don't release them to the public until they're well-rooted and ready for prime-time. All bulbs are in active growth in 4" pots when we ship them out (unless noted), ensuring that they're alive and thriving, ready to be planted the minute they get to your garden.

It's easy and rewarding to grow bulbs in pots, where you can control the drainage and the water (some may need a dry Summer rest), but many will live long and prosper in the open garden with little more than existing rainfall to get them by. Many will multiply to provide you with more and more beautiful blooms each successive year!

Beloved roses are like beloved friends.

They're loyal and stalwart, never fair-weather or flighty. The best ones don't hog your resources or demand too much of your time.

Enter, Cristin Fusano - a rose expert with over 34 years of experience!
