Holy inflorescence, Batgirl! Rare, robust and EASY to grow, this drought tolerant Canary Island succulent makes just about the biggest flowerhead you're ever gonna see - quite the focal point for your tropical or succulent garden. Wondrous in a large container, too! One of the tallest Aeoniums, it can reach an unbranched 4-6' tall - its pyramidal inflorescence easily reaches 3' x 3' in size. Pink or white starry blooms appear July thru August and are much adored by bees of all shapes and sizes. Strikingly architectural, even when not in bloom - which takes a few years - with long leaved, smooth rosettes to 20" across. Fertile, well-drained soil and occasional Summer water keep it looking perfect. Do water more often to establish. Usually dies after flowering, but provides much seed.
